Ms. Maynard has over twenty-five years of Human Resources experience in companies ranging in size from $50 million to $1 billion in sales across different business sectors. These sectors include manufacturing, retail, construction management, and hospitality. She has particular expertise in the small business arena, assisting in the development of several small companies over the past 15 years.

Prior to co-founding HR Xpress with Nancy Ridley, Ms. Maynard was Corporate Manager of Benefits and Compensation for The Chinet Company, a division of Van Leer Holding, Amstelveen, Holland. Cost reduction, policy development, system integration, and enhancing employee relations through competitive pay and benefit programs have been her areas of expertise.

Ms. Maynard’s memberships include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), HRM-RI, Business Network International and Board Member of the North Central Chamber of Commerce. She is past President of the Personnel Association of Rhode Island, served as an advisor to the Human Resource Investment Council (HRIC) and the Center for Women and Enterprise. Additionally, she has been a seminar presenter for the Small Business Development Center and various Chambers of Commerce.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rhode Island College and holds a current certification from the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. She also is an instructor at The Bryant University Executive Development Center.

An avid sailor, Ms. Maynard has traveled to The Bahamas, the Caribbean and South America.
